Position Overview

Mobile technicians provide onsite customer service and equipment repairs for commercial grade turf care equipment used in the golf and grounds landscaping industry. They play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers' expectations. 


What You'll Do

Accurately test, troubleshoot, and diagnose failures on hydraulics, electrical systems, and gasoline and diesel engines on a variety of commercial turf equipment such as Toro and Ventrac on-site at the customer's location

Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

Document issues in a clear and concise manner, showing cause for failure and correction

Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment serviced 

Manage vehicle inventory with weekly reports

Participate in available company sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge

Perform all duties in a professional and safe manner


Skills We Are Seeking

3-5 years of mechanical experience with turf care diesel engines

Experience in the Commercial Turf Industry is a plus

Must have the ability to read, interpret and understand schematics 

Must be able to perform diagnostic tests to identify and rebuild/repair malfunctions on all equipment

Certifications from Kohler, Toro, Briggs and Stratton are a plus

Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic problems

Must have the ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals

Must be able to routinely lift up to 75 pounds

Ability to work long hours in an external work environment 

Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards for mobile technicians (background, MVR, drug testing, insurance standards)

High school diploma or equivalent required
