Salary Range:$110,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

What You Will Do

This role partners closely with the Vertical Sales Director and collaborates across multiple departments - including Product Management, Project Engineering, Representative Sales Channel, District Managers, Inside Sales, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing - to drive strategic growth within the Data Center market. The Key Account Manager will serve as a market expert, helping position TURCK solutions effectively and expanding our presence with key accounts.

Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Drive new business revenue growth within key accounts in the Data Center vertical.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue high‑value opportunities that support strategic growth targets.
Sales Strategy & Market Penetration
  • Develop and execute market penetration strategies in partnership with business developers, sales representatives, and leadership.
  • Lead and coordinate sales efforts to capture and maintain TURCK product specifications at priority accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Channel, District Sales Managers, Division Management, and Sales Management to support regional and national growth objectives.
  • Develop business proposals and strategic recommendations for product and portfolio initiatives critical to the Data Center vertical.
  • Partner with cross‑functional divisions to define specifications for new products and product enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing input to Product Management regarding product modifications, line expansion, accessory needs, and Data Center–specific application requirements.
  • Contribute to annual product forecasts, marketing plans, sales enablement tools, advertising strategies, and long‑term product development roadmaps.
Market Analysis & Strategic Planning
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Data Center industry trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and customer challenges.
  • Analyze market conditions to identify threats, opportunities, and unmet needs.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of strategic adjustments to improve market positioning, competitive advantage, and portfolio performance within the Data Center segment.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Reporting
  • Provide consistent activity updates through weekly/monthly reporting and CRM documentation.
  • Track and report sales performance, territory growth, and progress toward strategic objectives within the Data Center vertical.
  • Collaborate effectively across internal teams to align on customer needs, project execution, and market strategy.
  • Travel to TURCK headquarters, customer sites, industry events, and strategic meetings as required.
  • Partner with international teams to support global alignment and development within the Data Center market.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support organizational and departmental goals.
What You Will Bring Required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline such as Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Data Center market or 5 years of experience working with TURCK products or comparable industrial automation products.
  • Demonstrated sales experience, with strong application knowledge and solid mechanical and electrical aptitude.
