What is tumbling?

Tumbling is a form of gymnastics that focuses on acrobatic and floor-based skills, such as flips, handsprings, somersaults, and twists, performed without the use of apparatus. It is practiced both as a standalone discipline and as part of other sports like cheerleading, artistic gymnastics, and dance.
