    Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Class A Driver to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of materials to customer job sites. In this role, you will be responsible for safely driving company vehicles, unloading materials with attention to customer satisfaction, and upholding a high standard of professionalism and accuracy.

    Pay for this Role: $22.00 per hour -$30.00 per hour depending on experience.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Learn and understand company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
    • Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
    • Load trucks according to the sales invoice and list of materials.
    • Organize and secure loads to ensure safe and efficient transport.
    • Verify accuracy of loads with the yard manager before departure.
    • Deliver and unload materials at customer job sites, ensuring satisfaction.
    • Follow delivery instructions and ensure timely deliveries.
    • Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
    • Record delivery information on the sales invoice and communicate customer messages from the job site.
    • Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company trucks and forklifts, including wearing seat belts at all times.
    • Adhere to yard loading and security procedures.
    • Accurately process merchandise returns with a credit memo.
    • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned yard and areas.
    • Assist with loading customer merchandise as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

    • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
    • Ability to respond to issues quickly and handle them in a calm, accurate, and professional manner.
    • Ability to stand and walk for 4 to 10 hours daily.
    • Proficiency in using a computer and calculator.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Valid Class A driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Physical strength to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
    • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
