WHAT YOU'LL DOAs our Truss Associate you will work as part of a team assembling roof and floor trusses according to engineered designs. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, handling lumber, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring each truss is built to exact specifications.
THE NITTY GRITTY
  • Assemble trusses by placing and securing lumber using nail guns, saws, and jigs
  • Read and interpret truss blueprints and layout drawings
  • Select and stage materials based on job specifications
  • Inspect components for accuracy and quality throughout the process
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE
  • Work efficiently as part of a production line to meet daily goals and deadlines

WHAT YOU NEEDQualifications:
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel to and from the work location
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing is a plus
  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow simple blueprints or drawings
  • Comfortable using power tools and working in a physical environment

WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and equipment including but not limited to table saws and panel saws.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis is a physically demanding job. This role requires the ability to lift up to 75-100lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with schedule flexibility.
