HR Business Partner

Annual Salary range:  $85,000 - $100,000

This position is not open for outside agency submissions.

Trulite is GROWING! We are looking for an HR Business Partner. This position will support our Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH branches. 

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to the Operations Managers in aligning business objectives with employee management strategies. The HRBP will work closely with department heads to develop and implement HR solutions that support the overall business strategy. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying HR-related needs, managing employee relations, and fostering a high-performance culture.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Ensuring compliance by keeping site departments aligned with HR policies and procedures while staying up to date on evolving labor laws.

  • Monitoring workforce trends such as turnover rates and employee engagement, then reporting findings to guide strategic business decisions.

  • Collaborating with the compensation team to maintain competitive salary structures and provide expert advice on benefits programs.

  • Promoting diversity and inclusion by designing programs that actively support these goals and foster an inclusive workplace culture.

  • Leading and participating in key HR projects and initiatives to continuously improve HR processes and align them with broader business objectives.

Skills You Bring:

  • Educational Foundation - A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • HR Expertise - 5+ years of overall HR experience, including at least 3 years in a business partner role, preferably within manufacturing, sales, or corporate environments.

  • Regulatory Knowledge - Strong command of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.

  • Strategic Capabilities - Proven proficiency in organizational development, performance management, and talent management strategies.

  • Interpersonal Strength - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Adaptability - A demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Proficiency - Working familiarity with HRIS and other HR-related software tools.

  • Analytical Mindset - Strong problem-solving skills, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to use data to inform decisions.

  • Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, alongside an active HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR), are strong pluses.
