Job Description:

Position Overview

Terex Materials Processing is seeking a Service Technician to support our industry-leading Cedarapids, Simplicity, and Canica crushing and screening product lines. This position serves as a key technical resource for our dealer network and end customers, providing equipment support, troubleshooting, training, commissioning, maintenance, and warranty assistance.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional service while helping customers maximize equipment performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotes safe work practices and ensures compliance with all applicable safety standards and procedures.

  • Respond to dealer and customer inquiries regarding equipment operation, troubleshooting, parts, and warranty matters.

  • Provide technical support to the Cedarapids, Canica, and Simplicity dealer network.

  • Assist dealers and customers with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and operational optimization.

  • Perform equipment inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair activities in the field.

  • Investigate and resolve customer equipment issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Utilize the internal helpdesk system to respond to dealer technical support tickets and service requests.

  • Escalate product performance, quality, and technical issues to Engineering and other cross-functional teams as appropriate.

  • Monitor and manage support cases to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to drive continuous product improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct technical training programs, classroom instruction, and hands-on equipment demonstrations for dealers and customers.

  • Documents and tracks customer service activities, communicating findings and resolutions to customers, dealers, engineering, and quality teams through email and phone correspondence.

  • Travel extensively to dealer locations, customer sites, trade events, and training facilities throughout North America.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years of service, maintenance, repair, or technical support experience with industrial, construction, mining, aggregate, or heavy equipment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 40-65% of the time.

  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
