Job description

TITLE: Supply Planner

LOCATION: OnsiteinLithonia, GA

COMP RANGE: $68,000- $87,000

Griffith Foodsis hiring aSupply Planner toplay a key role in overseeing the production scheduling process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This is your opportunity toleverageyourexpertisein production efficiency, inventory management, and working capital optimization to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to Griffith's overall business performance.

As aSupply Planner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Generate weekly production plan and daily production schedule for Mixing, Packaging, Staging & Batching operations.

  • Must have scheduling production scheduling experience.

  • Review line / shift capacity to produce a daily schedule.

  • Determineand communicateproduction priorities, re-entering production ordersbecause ofdaily BOM changes.

  • Review rework needs and hand walkformulasthrough processfor adjustments.

  • Notify raw material planners to add and remove raw materialholdsas necessary. Reschedule future production as a result.

  • Review new formulas for new ingredients, completingnew itemsset up in process.

  • Plan maintenance,sanitation,and contractor work as it relates to production.

  • Prepare and communicate several key reports, metrics, and the plant production plans on a weekly /daily basis.

  • Receive, analyze,maintain, and communicate order change notices to customer service.

Qualified candidates willhave:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial/Operations Engineering,or related field.

  • Significant experiencewith Production Scheduling

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, including use of Excel (pivot tables, formulas)

  • Prior experience with scheduling in high volume or fast paced manufacturing environments.

  • Minimum 3 years of related Supply Chain experience

  • Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and capacity planning

  • Working knowledge of MRP within a formal ERP environment.

  • Willingness to workonsiteinLithonia, GA 5 days per week.

  • Candidates must currentlypossessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
