Position Title: Elite Truck Driver / Traveling Driver – Class A - Penske Logistics Description: Elite Truck Driver / Traveling Driver – Class A - Penske Logistics Go where you’re needed most—and get paid to do it. As part of Penske’s Elite Driver team, you’ll travel to support critical operations, help launch new business, and step in where strong drivers are needed most. If you’re adaptable, dependable, and take pride in getting the job done right, this is a unique opportunity to stand out. Qualified candidates will hold a current CDL-A, have at least 2 years of documented tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years This role offers true flexibility—assignments are at least three weeks, with the option to extend and continue traveling as long as it works for you. Preferred candidates will have hazmat and doubles endorsements. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency. • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
