Job description

Founded as Boulder Hospice in 1976, TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care.
Title: PACE Homecare CNA
Location: In the community, seeing patients in their homes. Either in Boulder/Lafayette, or Longmont/Dacono areas.
Schedule: Sat-Wed 11:00-7:30PM
Pay: $23.29 to $25.40 per hour
Bonus: $3,000
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a friendly and skilled CNA to join our team on a full-time schedule. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with the elderly and is flexible to providing care for patients throughout Boulder, Weld and Jefferson Counties.
The CNA assists participants and/or supervises with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, and toileting) as assigned in a variety of settings including the Day Center, homes, nursing facilities, and assisted livings.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess a current Colorado CNA license
  • 1+ years of experience working as a CNA
  • Experience working with the frail or elderly population
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs
  • Must successfully pass agency required background checks and drug screening
