Nurse Practitioner - Houston, TX

Shifts: M-F (Some Saturdays)

Job overview: We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a hands on experience with TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) and Hormone Replacement Therapy for the Katy and Pearland locations in Houston, TX. We have an openings for a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner at Springs location. These are the Full-time on-site roles in the Houston area.

TRT/HRT NP Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Diagnosing low testosterone/hormone issues

  • Managing patient care plans (including TRT/HRT)

  • Ordering/interpreting labs (like hormone panels, CBCs)

  • Prescribing medications

  • Monitoring progress via virtual visits/EHR

  • Educating patients on treatment

  • Managing side effects (like high hematocrit), and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines (contraindications) for men's wellness or gender-affirming care

Pain Management NP Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive pain assessments

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain

  • Prescribe medications and therapies for pain management

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pain management interventions

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding pain management strategies

  • Perform interventional pain management techniques as appropriate

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

  • Participate in pain management research and stay current with advances in the field

  • Advocate for patients and help them navigate the healthcare system

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on pain management

  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner

  • Previous experience in pain management or HRT/TRT.

  • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
