In house, we boast both a professional engineering team and a 24/7 emergency service team. We are a member of the National Independent Electrical Contractor’s Association (IEC). At TRIO Electric, you'll work on some of the largest commercial construction projects in Houston while being supported by industry-leading planning, BIM coordination, prefab operations, and experienced field leadership. 
The Role
As an Electrical Superintendent, you'll play a key role in leading field operations and ensuring successful project delivery from preconstruction through completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for established field leaders who enjoy driving project execution, developing Foremen, and delivering complex projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all electrical field operations on assigned projects, including planning, execution, coordination, and closeout.
  • Lead, mentor, supervise, coordinate, and schedule foremen, electricians, and other field personnel.
  • Manage manpower planning, workforce forecasting, productivity, and crew assignments based on project and material requirements.
  • Drive project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Conduct planning and coordination meetings with project stakeholders, including Project Managers, General Contractors, clients, and other trade partners.
  • Ensure quality standards, contract requirements, specifications, and local code compliance are met.
  • Champion site safety, follow all safety rules, and support company safety initiatives by identifying and reporting hazards.
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine construction requirements and plan installation procedures.
  • Estimate and order materials, and evaluate labor needs to complete work efficiently.
  • Assemble, install, test, maintain, diagnose, and inspect electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
  • Advise management on unsafe equipment conditions and whether continued operation could present a hazard.
  • Maintain a current electrician’s license or identification card as required by law.
  • Record personnel, production, operational, and job progress information on required forms and reports.
  • Support workforce development, recruitment, and team growth.
  • Work scheduled hours, including overtime and weekends as needed, and respond to management requests in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of electrical construction experience
  • 3+ years in a Superintendent position
  • Building and Construction – knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in electrical work.
  • Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, by using relevant information and good judgement to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Proven success managing large-scale commercial construction projects
  • Strong background in manpower planning, scheduling, and field execution
  • Experience within healthcare, commercial, manufacturing, education, or data center projects
  • Ability to lead multiple Foremen and large field teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
