The work setting is an onsite outpatient office located in the vibrant community of The Villages, Florida. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and resources to support the delivery of effective treatment programs. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic interdisciplinary team, placing patient needs at the forefront of your efforts.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will take on diverse and fulfilling responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to establish individual treatment plans based on their specific functional limitations and disabilities.
• Providing expert consultation to healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive continuum of care for each patient.
• Fostering positive interactions with all patients, regardless of their age, cultural background, or mobility status, while adhering to our exemplary customer service standards.
• Implementing treatment protocols and regularly re-evaluating and adjusting plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of treatments, outcomes, and professional updates in compliance with all state regulations and organizational policies.
• Actively participating in community outreach and continuous quality improvement initiatives, as well as mentoring new staff and students.
• Managing departmental resources effectively while supervising and providing guidance to support staff.

Your primary focus will be on an orthopedic patient population, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work collaboratively with patients and their families to tailor treatment plans that promote healing, enhance mobility, and improve overall quality of life.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy with good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication as well as competency in various software tools for documentation and patient management.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and previous leadership roles or mentorship experiences.
