Job Summary

Northampton Family Medicine is an award-winning family practice housed in Cooley Dickinson's multispecialty medical facility located at 22 Atwood Drive, Suite 201 in Northampton, MA. As a Family Medicine office, we offer comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, newborn through adult.
We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Triage RN to support our practice Monday through Friday from 9:00am-5:30pm. After successfully completing the first 90 days, this position will transition to a hybrid schedule, with three remote days (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and two days working onsite! his role is predominantly phone triage with a mix of nurse visits.
Summary
Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Essential Functions
-Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
-Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
-Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
-Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
-Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
-Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
