Job description

The Outbound Shipping Clerk plays a crucial role within our warehouse team, responsible for accurately picking, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment. Attention to detail and physical stamina are key, as this position involves handling up to 50 lbs. and maintaining efficient production speed to meet shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and complete order counts prior to shipment
  • Prepare and pack shipments with attention to damage control
  • Retrieve and consolidate orders from the warehouse
  • Compare packing lists with product labels for accuracy
  • Load trucks using forklift or pallet jack
  • Conduct quality control checks for product defects and packaging
  • Stock shipping area with boxes and packing materials as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Operate wire guided reach trucks, forklifts, or turret trucks safely
