Job Summary:

In this role, you will support the project's Change Management Program by identifying, evaluating, documenting, and tracking project trends and potential changes. You will coordinate with project functions to develop trend estimates, assess cost and schedule impacts, maintain trend logs, and support project forecasting and contract change management activities. Your work will help ensure timely identification and resolution of project changes while supporting informed project decision-making and accurate project reporting. #LI-SM2

Major Responsibilities:
  • Administers and maintains the project Trend Program and Trend Register.
  • Coordinates the identification, evaluation, documentation, and disposition of project trends.
  • Works with engineering, procurement, construction, startup, contracts, and project management personnel to develop trend scope definitions and impacts.
  • Develops and reviews Order of Magnitude (OOM) and detailed trend estimates.
  • Evaluates trend impacts to cost, schedule, quantities, productivity, and execution plans.
  • Ensures trend documentation is complete, traceable, and compliant with project procedures.
  • Supports forecast updates by coordinating incorporation of approved trend impacts.
  • Assists in the development of contract change documentation and client change notices.
  • Facilitates trend review meetings and supports management decision-making.
  • Monitors trend status and reports trend metrics, aging, and exposure to project management.Identifies opportunities for early mitigation of adverse trends and implementation of favorable trends.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Expertise in project Change and Trend Management, including forecasting, budgeting, contract changes, and baseline control.
  • Knowledge of EPC and startup work processes and their influence on project change management.
  • Experience developing trend, conceptual, and Order-of-Magnitude estimates using historical data and benchmarking techniques.
  • Ability to evaluate cost, quantity, labor, schedule, and total installed cost impacts of proposed changes.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to drive resolution of potential changes and provide recommendations to project management.
  • Proficiency with project controls systems supporting cost management, forecasting, and trend management.
  • Effective communicator capable of presenting trend status, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to project management.
