The Revenue team for Starwood Hotels is a group of driven problem solvers, the brightest of the bright who make it easy for everyone else to understand the daily operations of our hotel and its financial impacts.
We are currently seeking a Director of Revenue & Reservations based at our 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay location. The Director of Revenue & Reservations will maintain oversight over the Reservations Departments (on site or call-center based), work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Catering, Finance and Front Office teams, and supervise account balancing, ledger reconciliation, and financial report execution for the hotel. Needless to say, it's a hugely important role that requires meticulous analysis, insightful planning, and a sharp ability to identify and resolve discrepancies with lightning-fast solutions.
About you...
Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; or a min of 6 years similar experience in this or similar role.
Prior experience and strong understanding of hospitality revenue management preferred.
Experience with hotel property management systems, reservation systems and revenue management systems to forecast and implement optimal strategies preferred.
Strong expertise in on demand trends and market conditions with ability to translate into revenue management strategies used to realize the maximum amount of revenue for the property.
Comfortable with presenting strategy recommendations to Executive teams
Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
