The Arborist Climber will join a skilled Tree Work Crew, taking on challenging and rewarding projects that require expertise in tree care and a dedication to high safety standards. Responsibilities
  • Lead and work as part of a crew to complete assigned tree care tasks safely and efficiently
  • Perform a variety of arboriculture activities, including tree diagnosis, climbing, pruning, removal, stump grinding, and preservation techniques
  • Install tree support systems such as cabling, bracing, tying, bolting, staking, and guying
  • Supervise and train crew members in proper tree trimming and safety procedures
  • Collect and manage debris from tree trimming and removal operations, ensuring a clean and safe work zone
  • Trim, limb, prune, and shape trees and shrubs according to industry best practices
  • Participate in the maintenance of gear, tools, and equipment both in the field and at the shop
  • Consistently adhere to ANSI and ArborScape safety guidelines
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in arboriculture or related field
  • Experience operating and maintaining specialized equipment such as chippers, stump grinders, and chainsaws
  • Proficiency in knot tying and safe rigging techniques
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing skill development and professional growth
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
  • Desire to maintain certifications and accreditations in the field
Compensation

$24 - $29 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime opportunities available.
