SEASONAL INTERNSHIP RUNNING THROUGH OCTOBER. UP TO 40 HOURS PER WEEK.

Position Summary

The Tree Care Estimating Intern is a seasonal field-based position designed for individuals interested in learning about the tree care industry. In this role, you will assist the estimating process by gathering field data that supports our Sales Arborists in preparing accurate proposals for clients. No prior tree care experience is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to arboriculture, develop tree identification skills, and learn how professional tree care companies evaluate and estimate work.

What a Day is Like

• Work alongside skilled crews on General Tree Care, Plant Health Care, and Lawn Care teams.
• Assist with hands-on field work, including pruning, plant health monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Shadow Sales Arborists and office staff to gain insight into operations, sales, and client relations.
• Learn and apply safety protocols and industry best practices.

About You

You are:
• A current student pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Environmental or Plant Science, Botany, Urban Forestry, Turf, or a related field.
• Passionate about the outdoors and committed to environmental stewardship.
• Excited to apply classroom knowledge in a practical, hands-on setting.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the team.

What is Essential

• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the U.S.

Physical Demands

These physical demands must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is subject to frequently lifting and/or moving up to fifty (50) pounds.
