We are seeking motivated individuals who want to grow with our company and team members we can invest in to develop into skilled professionals dedicated to continuous improvement, impacting our clients, the tree care industry, and our organization. We are looking for a team member with a great attitude who is passionate about tree care.

Responsibilities:

  • Report punctually each day, prepared to work a full day
  • Lead and supervise a tree service team, including climbers and ground crew members, in executing tree care tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Assist in performing professional tree care (pruning, removals, cabling, etc.) following ANSI 300 and ISA Best Practices standards
  • Maintain and account for all tools and equipment used in daily operations
  • Utilize your expertise in tree climbing, pruning, rigging, and removal techniques to perform tree care operations according to industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company Safety protocols and policies, equipment maintenance, and PPE utilization to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
  • Work with managers to train new team members on proper tree care techniques, equipment usage, safety measures, and company procedures to uphold quality standards.
  • Organize and oversee daily work schedules, equipment allocation, and project timelines to meet client expectations and company goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, employee time, equipment usage, and any incidents, ensuring comprehensive reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license. A valid Class A driver’s license and clean driving record are preferred.
  • Hold an ISA Arborist Certification or be able to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in arboriculture with demonstrated proficiency in tree climbing, rigging, pruning, and tree removal techniques.
  • Must possess physical strength and agility, good balance, good depth perception, and the ability to hear verbal instructions from a distance
  • Must have the ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and professional growth
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of arboriculture, tree risk assessment, equipment operation and maintenance, climbing systems, and familiarity with the following industry standards.
    • ANSI A300 Standards
    • ANSI Z133 Standards
    • OSHA General Industry Safety Standards
    • ISA Best Management Practices
  • Must display Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Be familiar with electrical hazards and how to operate appropriately when in proximity to electrical conductors
