Job Opening Details:
If our mission statement piques your interest, we encourage you to apply for the currently open position of Treasury Management Associate to work Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM at our Branch located at 1000 W 800 N, Orem, UT 84057. The Treasury Management Associate supports commercial clients with treasury management services, cash management solutions, and digital banking products. Working closely with Treasury Management Officers, Relationship Managers, and Banking Managers, this role assists with client onboarding, product implementation, relationship support, and identifying treasury management opportunities. The position is designed to develop treasury expertise and consultative sales skills while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications:
Education
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in banking, treasury management support, commercial banking, branch banking, business banking, customer service, or related financial services experience.
  • Experience working with business clients preferred.
  • Knowledge of deposit products, electronic banking services, or treasury management products preferred.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding, implementation, or relationship management preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Career Path
This position is designed as a developmental role with the opportunity to advance into a Treasury Management Officer position through demonstrated performance, treasury management expertise, consultative sales development, and successful management of commercial client relationships.

Regular Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Support
  • Support Treasury Management Officers in managing and expanding commercial client relationships.
  • Conduct client outreach to strengthen relationships and identify treasury management opportunities.
  • Assist with portfolio reviews and client needs assessments.
  • Partner with Commercial Relationship Managers and Banking Managers to identify treasury product opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside Treasury Management Officers.
Treasury Solutions Support
  • Assist clients with treasury management products and services including:
    • ACH Origination and Receivables
    • Wire Transfer Services
    • Remote Deposit Capture
    • Positive Pay and Fraud Mitigation Services
    • Business Online Banking
    • Merchant Services
    • Information Reporting and Account Analysis
  • Support treasury product demonstrations and client education.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product utilization and enhance client efficiency.
Implementation amp; Client Service
  • Coordinate treasury management implementations, onboarding activities, and product setups.
  • Conduct client training on treasury management platforms and services.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for routine treasury management inquiries.
  • Work with operations, implementation, and support teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and ensure a positive client experience.
Sales amp; Business Development
  • Generate referrals and identify opportunities within existing relationships.
  • Assist with treasury management sales efforts and proposal preparation.
  • Support revenue growth through treasury product penetration and client retention initiatives.
  • Develop consultative sales skills through joint calling and relationship-building activities.
Performance amp; Compliance
  • Maintain accurate client records, pipeline activity, and sales documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of treasury management products, industry trends, and banking technology.
  • Support achievement of departmental goals related to deposits, fee income, and client retention.
