POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
 
The Treasury Management Officer is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing commercial depository relationships. In addition, this position will assist banking centers, banking/lending officers in business development efforts, with the principle focus on Treasury Management products and services. The primary objective for this position is to increase the growth of commercial deposit relationships and increased fee income.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience required.
 •
Previous Treasury Management or banking experience preferred.
 •
Demonstrated history of successful sales or Treasury Management sales experience.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Joint calling with other Bankers/Lenders/Officers within the Bank. (Private Banking, Commercial, Business, Retail)
 •
Responsible for self-sourcing (10%) and bringing relationships to the bank including devising and executing plans to achieve sales goals.
 •
Responsible for logging sales efforts within tracking system.
 •
Responsible for prospect proposal preparation and delivery.
 •
Assist in opening new accounts properly.
 •
Ongoing, superior account relationship management of portfolio of clients.
 •
Generate revenue from sales of Treasury Management products and services.
 •
Demonstrate proficiency in sales knowledge of all strategic Treasury Management products.
 •
Devise and implement personal calling strategy to meet call quota and sales goals.
 •
Identify cross-selling opportunities for both new and existing clients.
 •
Learn the credit culture of Republic Bank to present appropriate credits for approval.
 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
  • Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank’s values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
  • Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
