Treasury Consulting Professionals - Global Treasury Practice

We are seeking Treasury Consulting professionals across multiple experience levels and areas of specialization to join our rapidly growing Global Treasury Practice. Opportunities may range from Senior Associate to Manager level and are available for candidates with expertise in Treasury Technology, Treasury Operations and Advisory, Finance Transformation, and Treasury within Financial Services organizations.

Our Treasury Practice is part of our broader Finance Transformation solution focused on modernizing the Office of the CFO. This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals seeking an entrepreneurial environment within the stability and resources of a well-established global firm. Team members work directly with clients, helping them transform treasury organizations, optimize processes, implement technology solutions, and improve financial performance.

We are looking for professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Treasury Management System (TMS) implementations and optimization

  • Treasury technology strategy and digital transformation

  • Treasury operations and process improvement

  • Cash and liquidity management

  • Bank connectivity and payments transformation

  • Cash forecasting and working capital optimization

  • Risk management, including FX, interest rate, and commodity exposures

As part of our Treasury Practice, you will leverage your experience and expertise to help clients improve business performance through technology enablement, process transformation, organizational design, and treasury best practices. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on experience level and specialization but may include:

  • Advise treasury, finance, accounting, and operational leaders on treasury transformation initiatives and leading practices.

  • Lead or support Treasury Management System implementations, upgrades, assessments, and optimization projects.

  • Evaluate current-state treasury processes and design future-state operating models and solutions.

  • Gather business requirements, facilitate workshops, and develop functional and technical specifications.

  • Assess, troubleshoot, test, and support treasury technology solutions throughout implementation lifecycles.

  • Train and advise clients on the effective use of treasury systems and related technologies.

  • Support treasury process improvement initiatives across cash management, liquidity, forecasting, payments, investments, debt, and risk management activities.

  • Assist clients with treasury policy development, governance frameworks, controls, and operating procedures.

  • Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and digital treasury initiatives.

  • Participate in business development, proposal development, pre-sales activities, and client relationship management.

  • Develop project plans, manage project workstreams, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Mentor and develop junior staff and project team members.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in treasury consulting, treasury operations, treasury technology, financial services treasury, banking, or finance transformation.

  • Experience in one or more treasury disciplines, including treasury technology, cash management, liquidity management, forecasting, payments, bank relationship management, debt and investments, treasury risk management, or treasury operations.

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems and treasury-related technologies, including but not limited to Kyriba, FIS, Trovata, SAP Treasury, GTreasury, Reval, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, treasury teams, finance organizations, and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing, configuring, optimizing, or supporting treasury technology platforms.

  • Certifications in Kyriba, FIS, SAP Treasury, or other treasury technologies.

  • Corporate treasury experience within large multinational organizations.

  • Treasury experience within banking, financial institutions, asset management, insurance, fintech, or other financial services organizations.

  • Consulting or professional services experience, including client-facing project delivery.

  • Experience supporting treasury transformation, finance transformation, or ERP-enabled treasury initiatives.

  • Knowledge of cash management, liquidity management, forecasting, payments, bank connectivity, SWIFT, treasury accounting, debt management, investments, and risk management.

  • Understanding of treasury controls, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience working with multiple clients and managing concurrent project engagements.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, develop solutions, and build trusted advisor relationships.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including workshop facilitation and executive presentations.

  • Ability to break down complex business and technology challenges into actionable project plans and solutions.

  • Strong data analysis, organization, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and global teams.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $192,000

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
