Job description

Responsibilities
The role involves a range of treasury operations for the Funds, such as processing wire transfers for investments, transferring funds between legal entities within complex fund structures, and settling foreign exchange transactions, margin calls, and swaps. The candidate will assist in liquidity management to ensure the Funds maintain sufficient cash for upcoming funding needs. Additional duties include managing the opening, closing, and ongoing maintenance of Fund bank accounts, overseeing daily cash reconciliations, and coordinating with an overseas team to address and resolve complex cash breaks. The role also requires liaison with fund administrators, trustees, and auditors. A focus on process improvement and automation, testing new processes and technologies, and leading special projects or ad hoc analyses are integral parts of the position.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, possessing 1–4 years of relevant experience. Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and a solid understanding of reconciliations are essential. They must demonstrate the ability to manage projects of varying sizes and complexities, with strong leadership skills to take ownership of tasks. Analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure in a fast-paced environment are critical. Familiarity with cash management operations—including custodial transactions (fixed income, loans, derivatives, collateral, FX trades, asset settlements), SWIFT, wires, and interpreting settlement instructions—is required. Experience working with complex fund structures is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with familiarity of FIS/SunGard VPM or Indus Valley Partners’ products considered a plus.
