TREASURY COORDINATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Treasury Coordinator to join our team. The Treasury Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the company's treasury operations by managing daily cash activities, banking transactions, account reconciliations, and treasury reporting. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency. This position is located in Houston, TX and in-office attendance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily cash positions and assist with forecasting activities.
  • Track electronic payments, wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other banking activities.
  • Prepare and maintain treasury reports, cash balances, and liquidity analyses.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with executive level leadership and senior management to obtain payment approvals, provide treasury-related information, and ensure timely processing of high priority transactions.
  • Maintain banking records, authorized signers, and treasury related documentation.
  • Support the administration of banking platforms and relationships.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end treasury reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Finance teams to ensure accurate cash management.
  • Ensure compliance internal controls, company policies, and banking procedures with guidance from senior management
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance treasury operations and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field OR proven work experience in a finance and accounting role, 2+ years preferred.
  • Experience in a multi-entity corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and account reconciliation processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Business Central experience is a plus).
  • Experience working with banking platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, and financial software/tools.
  • Comfortable interactive with executive leadership, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to exercise professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong ethics and integrity with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy, transparency, and confidentiality.
