Job description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the sales, marketing and support of WesBanco's Treasury Management products and services. Works in conjunction with the Commercial Lender teams to ensure delivery of treasury products to commercial credit based larger, more complex business customers and prospects. Analyzes the profitability of new business opportunities. Manages relationships with internal and external clients. Internal clients are developed as primary lead sources. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provides timely and accurate reporting of required sales and business development reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

Contacts prospective commercial customers in order to develop new treasury management business.

Meets periodically via phone, online meetings or on site with existing and prospective customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.

Prepares sales presentations, explains services offered, and recommends those services which would be of value to the customer.

Meets assigned goals as established annually for fee income or deposit generation.

Ensures other company officers are aware of the company's treasury management sales activities and assists in promoting the company's treasury management sales program; works in conjunction with Commercial officers to promote the company's treasury management program.

Assists in the design and proper installation of treasury management services.

Assists management in the development of new services, modification of existing services, development of marketing strategy and establishment of sales objectives.

Works with TM support team to ensure accurate and proper billing through account analysis system.

Establishes proper legal documentation for all Treasury Management products.

In conjunction with Treasury Management Support and Onboarding, may assist in training and developing all commercial team members on Treasury Management products and pricing.

Resolves complex customer issues and communicates with clients and/or the appropriate commercial banking professionals.

Ensures the safety and soundness of TM functions or customer activity based upon the bank's risk management policy and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Communicates with the client to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients.

Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management, commercial lending and branch network, and other departments.

Must display demonstrated knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Must be comfortable working with online systems and connecting remotely with customers via Webex or similar software.

4 year degree and/or four years of related banking experience or equivalent combination of both.

Minimum of four years of experience in either Retail or Commercial Banking required, with outside sales calling goals is preferred.

Strong knowledge of payment systems, depository products, and operational delivery required.
