What You'll Do

You'll be more than a salesperson you'll be a trusted advisor and problem-solver for our business clients.

You'll:

  • Grow the business by developing new treasury management relationships and uncovering opportunities to generate revenue.
  • Build lasting relationships with existing clients through regular outreach, thoughtful conversations, and needs-based consulting.
  • Connect the dots by partnering with lenders and other client-facing teams to create comprehensive solutions for our customers.
  • Lead the conversation by preparing engaging sales presentations, explaining treasury services, and recommending solutions that make sense for each client.
  • Think strategically by executing sales strategies designed to increase market penetration and drive growth.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping your finger on industry trends, competitive offerings, treasury solutions, and pricing.
  • Be a resource for others by providing guidance, coaching, and support to less-experienced team members.
  • Help shape what's next by contributing to new Treasury Management products, services, special projects, and system conversions.
  • Represent Northrim at community events, trade shows, and other opportunities to build relationships and strengthen our presence.
  • Be part of the bigger picture by participating in bank-wide activities, committees, task forces, and special projects.

  • At least three years of progressively responsible experience in direct sales and/or customer service.

  • The ability to understand financial information, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • The confidence to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make things happen.
  • A proactive, creative, and innovative approach to solving customer and business challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, operations, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
