Love's College Intern Program
The Love's college internship program is frequently referred to as the best in Oklahoma City. This rapidly growing program provides opportunities for students in multiple areas of the business to receive employee level experience, not just busy work. Students also gain valuable knowledge that they can't get in a classroom; they are guided through proper etiquette of a professional corporate setting. BASIC PURPOSE: The Finance & Treasury Intern will support the Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams by assisting with financial reporting, cash management activities, account reconciliations, data analysis, forecasting, and special projects. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate finance, treasury operations, financial modeling, and business analysis while developing analytical, technical, and professional skills.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank account monitoring, and cash transaction reporting.
  • Support the preparation of bank reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting-related workpapers.
  • Help maintain treasury and financial reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and analysis of cash balances and banking activity.
  • Compile, organize, and analyze financial data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Utilize Excel and other reporting tools to analyze large datasets and prepare management reports.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reporting materials for leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving budgeting, forecasting, operational performance, and strategic initiatives.
  • Research industry, market, and financial information and summarize findings for management.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives within Finance and Treasury.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of previous accounting, finance, or analysis experience required
    • Previous exposure to, or willingness to learn, basics of SQL a plus

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Basic understanding of accounting, finance, or treasury concepts.
    • Ability to work with large datasets and perform financial analysis.
    • Exposure to financial modeling, reporting tools, SAP, Power BI, SQL, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
