Job Title: Director, Treasury & Cash Management
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Position Summary

Meridian Group International is seeking a hands‑on treasury professional to support the management and standardization of treasury operations across our global organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director, Treasury & Cash Management will be responsible for cash visibility, liquidity reporting, banking relationship management, debt monitoring, foreign exchange analysis, treasury process improvement, and treasury reporting across North America, Europe, and APAC.

This role is designed to support Meridian's treasury standardization and automation initiative by establishing consistent treasury processes, reporting, controls, and banking practices across operating companies while preserving local operational flexibility and banking requirements. The position will play a key role in supporting the company’s global banking relationship and improving visibility into worldwide cash and liquidity positions. The focus is on execution, reporting, analytics, process improvement, and treasury governance.

Duties and Responsibilities Global Cash Management
  • Consolidate and maintain daily visibility of global cash balances across all legal entities and banking partners.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor liquidity by country, legal entity, and currency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cash utilization and reduce idle cash balances.
  • Assist operating companies in forecasting cash needs and funding requirements.
  • Develop reporting that provides management with visibility into global liquidity and cash movements.
Treasury Standardization
  • Establish and maintain standardized treasury policies, procedures, and reporting practices across the organization.
  • Promote consistent cash forecasting methodologies across business units.
  • Develop standardized treasury KPIs and reporting packages.
  • Support treasury governance initiatives and process improvements.
  • Document treasury workflows and best practices.
  • Assist with the implementation of common treasury tools and reporting platforms across operating companies.
Banking Relationship Management
  • Serve as Meridian's primary day‑to‑day treasury contact with global banking partner.
  • Coordinate bank account opening, maintenance, and closure activities.
  • Manage banking signatory documentation and user access administration.
  • Monitor banking service quality, fees, and treasury platform utilization.
  • Support implementation of treasury management services and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist with banking structure optimization and account rationalization where appropriate.
Debt & Liquidity Monitoring
  • Monitor revolving credit facility utilization and local borrowing arrangements.
  • Track interest expense and support borrowing optimization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce local debt through improved liquidity planning and cash deployment.
  • Prepare debt reporting and covenant compliance schedules.
  • Support lender reporting and financing‑related information requests.
Foreign Exchange & Financial Risk Reporting
  • Monitor global currency exposures and foreign exchange impacts.
  • Prepare regular reporting on FX gains, losses, exposures, and currency trends.
  • Support development and maintenance of FX management processes.
  • Assist the CFO in evaluating foreign exchange risks and mitigation opportunities.
  • Maintain visibility of currency exposures across operating entities.
Treasury Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain treasury dashboards and management reporting.
  • Provide monthly reporting on:
    • Global cash position
    • Debt balances
    • Liquidity metrics
    • Interest expense
    • Banking costs
    • FX exposures
  • Support acquisition due diligence and treasury integration activities.
  • Ability to interface with ERP and support reconciliation requests.
  • Create analytical models to improve treasury decision‑making.
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits related to treasury activities.
  • Monitor banking authorities and payment controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and banking requirements.
  • Assist with fraud prevention and treasury security initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of treasury, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or banking experience.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cash forecasting
    • Liquidity management
    • Banking products and services
    • Debt facilities
    • Financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a hands‑on role.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.

Preferred

  • Corporate treasury experience within a multinational organization.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • Experience working with large global banking institutions.
  • Experience with treasury reporting tools, Power BI, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience supporting global operations across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
