What You'll Be Doing
The Sr. Banking Treasury Sales Manager is responsible for partnering with Bankers and specialized coverage teams to drive deposit growth, treasury management revenue, and overall banking relationships across Stifel Bank's commercial, Venture Banking, Fund Banking, and institutional client segments. The role serves as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing clients, delivering treasury, liquidity, payment, and cash management solutions while identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships across the broader Stifel platform. The position collaborates closely with Banking, Product, Operations, Technology, and external partners to support growth initiatives, product development, client onboarding, and strategic market expansion.
What We're Looking For
  • Partner with Venture Banking, Fund Banking, Commercial Banking, and specialty banking teams to acquire, retain, and expand client relationships.
  • Develop treasury and liquidity strategies tailored to venture-backed companies, private investment funds, sponsor-backed businesses, and institutional clients.
  • Support relationship teams with prospecting, client pitches, RFP responses, treasury diagnostics, Treasury & Liquidity Solutions
  • Deliver consultative treasury management solutions including payments, receivables, liquidity management, deposit products, fraud mitigation, digital banking, and cash optimization strategies.
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of treasury solutions.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex treasury and onboarding opportunities.
  • Provides support to all internal and external clients through all phases including the onboarding process.
  • Engage and work with internal and external partners, including other Stifel business units and 3rd party service providers.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience supporting venture-backed growth companies, private funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms, and institutional clients.
  • Strong understanding of treasury management, cash management, liquidity products, commercial deposits, and digital banking solutions.
  • Knowledge of fintech treasury platforms, payment technologies, and emerging banking technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales, client acquisition, and relationship expansion.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-suite, CFO, Controller, Treasury, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with limited supervision while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Some travel may be required.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Required: 7+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: CTP Preferred

Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in required software, computer, internet and operating systems necessary to deliver Bank products and services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Compensation Range
Salary: USD $190,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr.
Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate's qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel's overall compensation package for each individual employee.
