About the team and role

Klaviyo's Treasury team manages the company's global cash, liquidity, insurance and foreign exchange (FX) risk so the business can operate and grow with confidence. As Lead Treasury Analyst, you'll take ownership of day-to-day global cash positioning and forecasting while building the FX, risk-management, and cross-functional skills needed to grow further into a Treasury career. This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in treasury or corporate finance who is eager to take the next step: you already know the fundamentals of cash management and forecasting, have basic exposure to FX concepts, and are ready to own more of the process and partner directly with banking, accounting, and FP&A stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative role — you'll work closely with the Treasury Director and cross-functional partners in an environment where ideas and perspectives are shared constantly, and strong interpersonal skills matter as much as technical ones.

How you'll make a difference

The essential job duties for this role include:

  • Synthesize complex cash, forecasting, and FX data into clear, concise analysis and reporting for the Treasury Director and senior management, with confidence presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor the company's FX exposure arising from international receivables, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency balances, and flag emerging risks.
  • Support the development and execution of FX hedging strategies in partnership with the Treasury Director, including trade execution and settlement tracking.
  • Prepare treasury reporting and KPIs (cash position, forecast accuracy, FX exposure, liquidity metrics) for senior leadership.
  • Own daily global cash positioning across multiple entities, currencies, and banking partners, ensuring accurate visibility into consolidated cash balances.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve sophisticated short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and financial models to support liquidity planning and working capital decisions.
  • Initiate and review wire transfers, funds transfers, and intercompany settlements, ensuring appropriate controls and approvals are followed.
  • Manage bank account administration, including account opening/closing, signatory updates, KYC documentation, and banking fee analysis.
  • Monitor cash and investment balances for compliance with the corporate investment policy, and evaluate short-term investment options for excess cash.
  • Partner with Accounting on treasury-related reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
  • Identify and help implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the Trovata (the Treasury forecast system) and banking platforms.
  • Support external audit and bank requests as needed.
  • Collaborate closely and continuously with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Legal, actively contributing ideas and perspective in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Who you are
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills; genuinely enjoys a collaborative environment built on openly sharing thoughts and ideas.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to independently build, stress-test, and explain cash flow models.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage global, multi-currency cash positions across several banking relationships.
  • Basic working knowledge of FX concepts (exposure, hedging, spot/forward transactions) and a genuine eagerness to deepen that expertise.
  • Confidence and skill in synthesizing complex data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy with assistance of AI.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ambition and readiness to grow into a treasury management role.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to escalation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with CitiDirect and banking/FX platforms (e.g., FXAll) is a plus.
  • High intellectual curiosity and a bias toward improving and simplifying existing processes via AI.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or cash management, typically including time as a Treasury Analyst or Senior Treasury Analyst.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, ERP systems, and banking portals preferred.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or progress toward the certification is a plus, but not required.
