FP&A Analyst
The FP&A Analyst role provides broad exposure across Corporate FP&A, supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis under the direction of FP&A leadership. This position partners closely with Corporate FP&A, Business Unit Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams, providing visibility to key business processes and senior leadership. Through involvement in a wide range of planning, reporting, and analytical activities, the role is designed to build a strong foundation across Finance and prepare individuals for future growth opportunities in the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the annual operating plan, budget, and rolling forecast processes across the enterprise.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting, including key metrics, variance analysis, and management reporting packages.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making activities.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for operating expenses, capital expenditures, and other corporate finance initiatives.
• Support the development of executive presentations and materials for senior leadership.
• Create and enhance standardized reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve reporting efficiency and transparency.
• Partner with Corporate FP&A, Business Unit Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and other functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on reporting, forecasting, and financial planning capabilities.
• Support special projects, ad hoc analyses, and strategic initiatives as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA/Masters preferred
• Prior experience in FP&A or a similar role
• Manufacturing/Automotive background
• Some experience with SAP & Data Warehouse
