The Treasury Associate plays a vital role in supporting Moog's Treasury function across key administrative and operational areas, including bank and payment support, vendor onboarding, equipment leases, and daily departmental support. Working in close alignment with the Treasury Analyst and under the guidance of the Treasury Operations Manager, this position serves as a primary operational coordinator to ensure smooth payment flows, robust control procedures, and precise compliance records.
Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site 4 days a week (1 day remote); relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
To qualify for the Treasury Associate role, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog...
  • Typically, an associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or a related business degree. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of hands-on experience in a corporate treasury, banking, accounts payable, or general corporate accounting environment.
  • Practical working exposure to ERP systems (SAP S4 and/or SAP ECC) and online corporate banking platforms are preferred.
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with strong, dependable skills in MS Excel for managing tracking sheets, master tables, and data logs.

As the Treasury Associate, you will...
  • Partner with Treasury Analysts to manage ACH/wire templates, oversee weekly corporate pay runs, track bank fees, and resolve transaction errors with banking partners.
  • Track outstanding checks, issue 60+ day aging reports, and collaborate with sites on multi-year lookbacks to support state unclaimed property compliance.
  • Own the end-to-end setup and maintenance of vendor payment profiles across SAP (S-4/ECC) and banking portals while enforcing strict control compliance.
  • Support equipment lease tracking, organize documentation, and process Treasury related Requests for Payment (RFPs).
  • Prepare monthly Treasury journal entries for approval and manage the Cash Management Group mailbox to route and close out urgent issues daily.
  • Serve as a versatile operational backup across the broader Treasury department to ensure seamless workflow continuity.
