Chewy, headquartered in Plantation, FL is looking for an Associate Director Treasury to join our dynamic Treasury team as an individual contributor. This position will report to the Head of Treasury, work cross-functionally across the finance organization and the broader business, with substantial senior leadership exposure and the opportunity to impact strategic decision making. This innovative leader will be a member of the Treasury Leadership Team and will play a critical role in contributing to and executing Chewy's strategy as we navigate the rapidly evolving e-commerce industry. What you'll do:
  • Lead cash and investment management operations including daily positioning, forecasting, reporting, working capital optimization and governance
  • Partner with Treasury and Finance leadership to provide analysis and recommendations related to liquidity planning, financing alternatives, capital structure, M&A activities, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with cross functional leaders including Accounting, Financial Operations, Tax, Legal and IT to support design and implementation of optimal cash and concentration structures as well as intercompany financing, and repatriation programs, as appropriate
  • Lead treasury technology and transformation initiatives, including evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), banking technologies, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that enhance visibility, controls, forecasting accuracy, and operational scalability.
  • Develop and execute the company's global banking strategy, including bank account rationalization, fee optimization, payment modernization, and ongoing management of banking relationships and service levels.
  • Support financing transactions and capital markets activities through financial analysis, due diligence, lender reporting, and preparation of materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead financial risk management activities including exposure identification, hedging strategy development, counterparty management, execution, and reporting.
  • Manage revolver borrowings, drawdowns, and reporting; actively manage the Letter of Credit portfolio; Term Loan B management; debt covenant compliance; and contribute to long-term financing strategy
  • Partner with the team on developing and managing talent as well as external relationships including with banking partners, consultants, and other advisors
  • Drive continuous improvements by proactively identifying and delivering income generating, cost-saving opportunities, and process efficiencies
  • Oversee modeling, analyses, and presentations to deliver insights and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Develop analyses and presentations to support Treasury-related discussions with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, lenders, and other key stakeholders.

What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working in cash management, foreign exchange, interest rates, trading, execution, or investment management and/or capital markets
  • Experience implementing or optimizing a TMS (Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS Quantum, or similar) within a multi-entity organization.
  • Broad understanding of banking services and payments technologies and experience with international banking
  • Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution excellence.
  • Proven record in attracting, developing, and motivating talent needed for current and future business requirements. Experience in coaching team members to success and holding individuals accountable for achieving results
  • Ability to build collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders. Able to work through complex issues to achieve resolution. Experience building trust by including others and by keeping the cross-functional teams focused on the success of the entire company
  • Strong analytical, business acumen and interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across the organization
  • Experience leading treasury technology initiatives, including TMS, banking platforms, automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting debt facilities, financing transactions, liquidity management, and treasury risk management programs.

  • Experience supporting high-growth, transformation-oriented, or rapidly scaling organizations.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics to improve treasury forecasting, liquidity management, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Proficiency with Oracle, FIS, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics and reporting tools.
