Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Field Technician to join our team. This position involves performing electrical testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance across a variety of environments, including electric utility substations, data centers, and industrial sites. While experience equivalent to NETA Level III or NICET Level III is preferred, certification is not required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to adapt to dynamic field conditions. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical power systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
  • Perform testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, medium voltage cables, and protective relays in substations, data centers, and industrial facilities.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and commissioning of new electrical installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and system issues.
  • Interpret and analyze test data, preparing detailed reports for clients and project documentation.
  • Adhere to safety standards, industry best practices, and site-specific protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications
  • Experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or field service work, particularly in substations, data centers, or industrial settings.
  • Ability to obtain NICET III Certification
  • Knowledge and preformance of electrical testing equipment, protective relays, and control circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
