Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR and scrub experience for a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.

Details
  • Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit with a siloed, fast-paced, high-volume environment (60-65 cases per day)
  • Operates 7 procedure rooms handling all lines for the entire hospital, including outpatient services
  • Cases are primarily neck-down with some light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies
  • Uses Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee systems (single-plane, no biplane functionality)
  • Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with a rotating day off
  • No weekend requirements
  • On-call as needed
  • May float to Cambridge IR
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology and scrub experience required
  • 3+ years of IR experience in a large hospital setting preferred, along with peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred
  • ARRT Radiography certification required in hand
  • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license required (may apply upon offer)
  • License required if applicable
  • New graduates will not be considered
Additional Information
  • Must attend orientation every Monday and Tuesday, plus nursing orientation Wednesday through Friday (bi-weekly)
  • Credentialing documents due one week prior to start date (Monday)
  • Nicotine-free facility
  • Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same bill rate, except for a 60-mile radius rule applicable to the Great Bend campus
