Position Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for new business development within an assigned territory or vertical. This hunter role focuses on prospecting, qualifying, and closing new installer and contractor accounts to drive regional revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of B2B sales success, technical aptitude to understand energy storage solutions, and a self-motivated approach to building relationships in the solar, energy, and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal sales quota within assigned territory or account segment
  • Prospect and qualify new installer, contractor, and distributor opportunities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities including calls, emails, and social selling
  • Schedule and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts within established guidelines
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager on strategic account targeting
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and opportunities in CRM
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Stay current on product updates, competitive offerings, and market trends
  • Hand off closed accounts to Account Managers for ongoing relationship management
  • Participate in sales training and certification programs
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and customer needs

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in solar, energy, or construction industries
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
