Territory Sales Manager

Our Territory Sales Managers function as Solera Awning Sales Representatives, often called a Residential Awning Experts. This is a commissionโ€‘based, inโ€‘home sales position that does not involve cold calling. The primary responsibility is to travel to scheduled appointments (which are preโ€‘set by Soleraโ€™s inside sales team), identify customer needs, and close sales using Soleraโ€™s 4โ€‘Step proven sales process. This role is based out of the Chicago, IL area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inโ€‘home consultations: Travel to customer homes at scheduled times to present Solera awning solutions and determine the best product fit for each homeownerโ€™s needs.
  • Utilize the Solera Sales Process: Consult, educate, and solve customer problems using Soleraโ€™s structured and repeatable 4โ€‘Step sales program.
  • Achieve sales goals: Maintain a high closing ratio and confirm sales and installation during the initial appointment.
  • Provide 5โ€‘Star customer service: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the entire process, from sale through installation, ensuring a premium customer experience.
  • Develop sales presentations: Deliver a strategic, professional presentation built on coaching, training, and proven best practices.
  • Embrace technology: Use companyโ€‘provided iPad, sales applications, and visualization tools to streamline and enhance the customer buying experience.
  • Participate in team activities: Attend all required meetings and actively contribute to team discussions and training sessions.
  • Manage assigned territories: Take ownership of assigned customers and geographic territories to maximize sales performance.
Qualifications and Expectations
  • Sales experience is preferred; home improvement or inโ€‘home sales experience is a plus.

Travel: Travel will be 80% of the role.
