About Company

We are a precision manufacturing company specializing in high-quality surface finishing and secondary processing solutions for the medical device industry. The company provides advanced manufacturing services, including cleaning, blasting, polishing, anodizing and plasma spraying helping customers meet stringent quality and regulatory standards. We specialize in physical vapor deposition, plasma spray, blasting, polishing, anodizing, etching, calcium phosphate deposition, laser marking, amongst other surface treatments and coatings.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Manager will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and sustainability of the Company engineering, production, and logistics systems to comply with applicable customer needs and FDA, ISO13485, and ISO14971 regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide strategic leadership for all engineering, production, and logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.

· Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of production systems, facility layouts, and operational processes.

· Manage and develop engineering, production, and logistics teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and budget oversight.

· Oversee the planning, procurement, installation, and validation of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and processing technologies.

· Collaborate with executive leadership, quality, engineering, sales, and customers to optimize manufacturing processes, support new business, and meet customer requirements.

· Drive operational excellence by ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred. Around 5 years of experience leading engineering or production teams, preferably in the medical device industry. Experience with medical device finishing processes such as cleaning, blasting, polishing, PVD, plasma spraying, or anodizing is a plus.

· Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD software, ERP systems, and basic statistical analysis tools.

· Communication Skills: Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and leadership.

· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with experience analyzing data, identifying root causes, and making informed decisions using statistical methods.

· Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, use hands for routine tasks, occasionally lift up to 25 lbs., and distinguish colors when required.

· Work Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, fumes, and moderate noise. Safe handling of chemicals is required.

· Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
