Job description

Oilfield Technician

Voyager Energy Services, LLC is currently seeking Oilfield Technicians to join our team in the Kenedy, TX region. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembly, disassembly, inspection, repair, operation, rig up, and general testing of flow back and related equipment.

Detailed Description

  • Assembly, disassembly, inspection, repair, operation, rig up, and general testing of flow back and related equipment.

  • Ability to read and adjust valves, gauges, pressures in line with specifications according to safety standards required.

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment operations within specific guidelines and standard operating procedures required.

  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of field service tickets, JSA’s and other paperwork as required.

  • General shop and equipment clean-up and maintenance.

  • Responsible for safety of self and others including reporting of all work-related injuries, near misses, equipment damage and unsafe acts as soon as practical to manager/supervisor.

  • May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet customer needs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • One plus (1+) years of oilfield service company experience.

  • Must have valid driver’s license.

  • Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) requirement standards.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and maintain drug free status.

  • Must be able and willing to be on call, work nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Travel may be required.

Job Type

  • Full-time – Schedule will vary, based in Kenedy, TX.

  • Compensation will be based on relevant experience.

  • Vehicle provided while on shift to candidates that pass company MVR and background standards.
