Inventory Management Sub-Department Mission: We support to enable a curated merchandise assortment and seamless

retail environment to create exceptional shopping experiences.

OVERVIEW

As a member of the Retail Merchandising team, you will be part of the team that curates merchandise assortment and presents our product in the most inspiring way for our clients. As the Inventory Associate, you will support in the movement of merchandise in and out of the store while contributing to seamless operations in the business. And, with the skills you gain in

LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES

1. MECHANICAL - To efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from the DC, store to store, and our

clients.


Incoming

  • Set up the Mechanical Workstation space as per guidelines
  • Check that the cartons received match the Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) and electronic pack list
  • Receiving – Electronically receive the cartons, ensuring accuracy as per guidelines
  • Unpacking – Remove product from cartons and shipment packaging
  • Security Tagging – Apply security tags to product as per guidelines
  • Hanging & Folding – Hang or fold product and sort by style as it is merchandised on the sales floor
  • Sizing – Organize product from smallest to largest
  • Marking Down – Sale ticket and price marked-down product
  • Steam product to remove any creases
  • Run product to its location on the sales floor or in the backroom


Outgoing

  • Promptly accept item checks for client orders, store to store transfers, and merchandise pulls
  • Picking – Locate product in the store
  • Validate that product located matches the request
  • De-Tagging – When ready to ship, remove security tag(s) from product
  • Fold, wrap, and package up the product as per guidelines
  • Labelling – Request, print and attach shipping label to package
  • Shipping – Complete shipment out of the store


2. TECHNICAL - To strategically place product in the backroom.

  • Backroom Floor Planning
  • Backroom Core Item Management
  • Backroom Optimum Units Management
  • Backroom Size Runs


3. MAINTENANCE - To uphold the standards of product display.

  • Sort product to ensure the right product is in the right place as per the established merchandising placement
  • Hang or fold product to enable optimal presentation in the backroom and sales floor
  • Size product to enable ease of access for our clients
  • Detail product to elevate the garments and enhance client experiences
  • Execute stock management to ensure accessibility of all colours and sizes while maintaining urgency to purchase


4. RETAIL SUPPORT - To support in the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space.

  • Execute timely and accurate order fulfillment, execute fitting room operations, ensure accurate
  • placement of operational signage, and support with service counter operations and client services.
  • Execute against the standards of inventory accuracy, window installations and maintenance, product integrity auditing and support, and product repairs
  • Execute maintenance of lighting, cleaning, store repairs, and plants
  • Execute on inventory counts, cycle counts, door guard coverage, and occupational health and safety standards
  • Execute against the standards of supplies, equipment, packaging and hangers management, and support with technology issues as they arise.


LOGISTICAL REQUIREMENTS
