As a Client Partner, you'll play a critical role in expanding Nextdoor's presence across the Southeast. You'll own a strategic territory with significant untapped opportunity, building and growing strategic relationships with leading brands and agencies across QSR, Travel & Tourism, Retail, and other high-growth verticals. This is an opportunity for a builder who thrives in new markets, enjoys creating momentum from the ground up, and wants to influence Nextdoor's long-term go-to-market strategy.
You'll own the full sales cycle, from developing pipeline and cultivating new relationships to closing business and growing long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires a proactive hunter mentality, balancing greenfield business development with strategic account growth across a high-opportunity territory.
You'll play an important role in shaping how advertisers think about local connection, bringing customer insights back to help inform Nextdoor's product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and continued growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Build Nextdoor's presence across the Southeast by developing and executing a territory strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth across key verticals including QSR, Travel & Tourism, Retail, and adjacent enterprise advertisers
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and shape regional growth strategies through customer insights and market intelligence
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and entrepreneurial thinking while establishing a new territory
  • Prospect, develop, and close net-new business with brands and agencies across your assigned verticals
  • Build trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders, agency partners, and key decision-makers
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by deeply understanding advertiser objectives and recommending multi-funnel advertising solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases that leverage data, storytelling, and industry insights to inspire customer confidence and drive business decisions
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined opportunity management, accurate forecasting, and thoughtful prioritization
  • Partner closely with Ad Solutions, Marketing, Product, Measurement, and Operations to deliver successful campaigns and exceptional client experiences
  • Effectively manage advertiser expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle while supporting long-term account growth and retention
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment by balancing short- and long-term priorities while adapting quickly to evolving business needs
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals

What You'll Bring To The Team
  • 10+ years of experience driving enterprise advertising sales and new business development within digital media, advertising technology, or related industries
  • Existing relationships with advertisers and agencies across the Southeast, particularly within QSR, Travel & Tourism, Retail, or adjacent enterprise verticals
  • Proven success building new business and growing revenue within new or underpenetrated markets using an entrepreneurial approach to territory development
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and generate new business through an established network of advertisers, agencies, and industry partners
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders and navigating complex enterprise buying cycles across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success managing a full sales cycle while consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, platform-based media buying, and marketing objectives spanning brand awareness, performance marketing, and full-funnel strategies
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision makers
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and identifying whitespace opportunities that drive long-term customer growth
  • Experience with Salesforce and modern sales prospecting and intelligence tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pathmatics, Winmo, or similar platforms)
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to independently manage a complex territory and multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience thriving in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments, with comfort navigating ambiguity, change, and evolving go-to-market strategies
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, sound judgment, and self-direction, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams

Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package. Compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
The compensation range for this role includes a base salary + commission structure with a 50:50 split. Commission will vary depending on your achievement of sales-related goals and objectives. The budgeted OTE (on-target earnings) inclusive of base + commission is in the range of $185,000 to $220,000 (base salary of $92,500 to $110,000) on an annualized basis. The salary range will be determined by the candidate's geographic location.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.
