Job description

At Beck Automation Inc. in Greensboro, North Carolina USA, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic specialist to join our growing team!


We are looking for a knowledgeable hands-on individual that is willing to travel up to 3 weeks per month. Starting out, you will receive training and hands-on experience building some of our machines at our shop in Greensboro, NC. Individuals interested in experiencing more adventures around the US, we offer full time benefits and pay for only 3 weeks of work per month! Typically, our techs work a combination of 3 weeks (minimum of 135 hours) with a full paid week off each month!


We specialize with our customers in the plastic packaging and medical industries, particularly injection molding and some blow moldng. Our equipment handles in mold labeling and product takeout. We are state-of-the-art automation equipment providers!



Responsibilities -

· Service, Installation, and repair work on existing systems, often working alone (In-Mold Labeling, Downstream, and some medical applications)

· Preventive Maintenance on equipment

· Handling of training for customers during installations

· Face-to-face interactions with customers, showing good personal relationships and confidence in all situations

· Excellent ability to troubleshoot and determine quick solutions to complex problems, as well as adapt to circumstances and overcome obstacles


Requirements-

· Basic technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical assemblies

  • Past experience as Automation Technician/ Electromechanics with mechanical abilities or degree in mechatronics a PLUS

· Very hands-on with great attitude and attention to customer relations

· Willingness to travel within US and Canada

  • Past experience as travel service technician a PLUS

· Valid driving license, passport, and no issues with air travel
