Typically, they drive smaller vehicles such as vans, cars, or light trucks that do not exceed the weight or passenger limits requiring a CDL. These roles are common in healthcare, car rental, and hospitality industries, where employees may shuttle clients or deliver items locally. Transporters must have a valid regular driver's license and a clean driving record. The job often involves customer service, safe driving practices, and sometimes handling packages or assisting passengers.

These skills are vital for safe, efficient transportation and positive customer interactions in this role.
