Transportation safety refers to the policies, procedures, and technologies used to prevent accidents and protect people, goods, and property while traveling by road, rail, air, or water. Professionals in transportation safety work to identify hazards, analyze risks, and develop solutions to reduce incidents and improve the overall safety of transportation systems. This can involve everything from designing safer vehicles and infrastructure to promoting best practices and enforcing regulations. The ultimate goal is to minimize injuries, fatalities, and damage in all forms of transportation.
