About the Role:

We're currently recruiting a Full-Time Driver Trainer to support our growing York Region operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping the next generation of professional drivers while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and uphold our safety-first culture.

Hourly Rate: $25.50

Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to Operations Manager, the Driver Trainer is responsible for training/teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.

This position includes the following duties:

  • Driving a school route as required
  • Completion of Driving Assessments
  • Instruction of Voyago divisional training as required
  • Licence upgrade training (E, and B class)
  • Outside instructional training programs as required by training school division manager

Requirements

The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • B or E licence held for a minimum of 3 years
  • P.R.I.D.E. Certified as an asset
  • Excellent proven customer service experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Southwestern Ontario.
  • Good organization and communications skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straint.
  • Possess a clean driver's abstract
  • Preferred previous instructional / teaching experience.
  • Preferred previous Driver Assessment experience.
  • Preferred instructional experience
