What you will do
  • Coordinate logistics and communication between plant operations, sales, and field teams to ensure smooth transportation workflows.
  • Monitor driver activity and compliance using tools like Nextraq, ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections, scheduling service and ensuring roadworthiness, cleanliness, and proper operation.
  • Ensure manifest and order accuracy, reviewing load sheets and smart container quality to meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze route efficiency to optimize cost savings and support continuous improvement in logistics processes.
  • Support driver communication and training, preparing memos and assisting with health and safety compliance.
  • Assist with logistics projects and administrative tasks, including vendor/customer communication and process implementation.
What we are looking for
  • 2+ years’ experience of Transportation Support and/or dispatch experience
  • Box truck driving experience is preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Strong understanding of transportation/logistics practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of best practices for customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
