Job Description: Contractor will be responsible for building provisioning of routers in a complex network and integrating them into the network remotely. Building files for integration of the routers so they can be reached remotely and working with field engineers to bring equipment online in the Verizon Network. Advanced operation of switching, data communications, and peripheral equipment associated with the Mobile Switching Center (MSC). Transport testing of fiber will be required to ensure that fiber is working within specifications. Will work with multiple stakeholders to complete projects efficiently, update trackers, and complete necessary milestones for projects. Contractor will need to be able to work in a complex environment with very little supervision to complete projects.


Skills and Requirements:



  • 3+ years of experience with Nokia Router and TiMOS configuration

  • IXRE or IXRS Router Experience

  • Previous Verizon Experience

  • Technical Degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications
