Job Summary:

Theย Senior Sustainability & Risk Specialist is responsible for leading supplier sustainability assessment, compliance, and risk management activities that support supplier qualification and ongoing monitoring programs. Leveraging expertise in audit and assessment frameworks, supplier risk evaluation, and sustainability compliance requirements, this role reviews supplier documentation, identifies potential risks, and provides recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier sustainability assessment, compliance review, and risk evaluation activities that support supplier qualification and monitoring programs
  • Review sustainability-related documentation, certifications, assessments, and audit findings to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding sustainability compliance and risk management
  • Research emerging sustainability requirements, standards, and industry trends to support product and program enhancements
  • Support the development and delivery of ISN and Transparency One (TCY) sustainability and risk management offerings
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 quality and information security management objectives
  • Up to 25% travel

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's degree in an Environmental, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • Sustainability, auditing, compliance, risk management, or related certifications preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, compliance, auditing, risk management, supplier assessment, or a related field
  • Experience reviewing policies, management systems, assessments, audits, certifications, or compliance documentation
  • Familiarity with sustainability standards, audit frameworks, and supplier risk management practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate findings to diverse audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical knowledge of the ISNetworld platform is a plus
