Job description

We are a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company located in Southern California, seeking highly professional CDL (Class A) Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. Our drivers are responsible for delivering various petroleum products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. We provide best-in-class trucks and equipment and are looking for motivated professionals to help us grow. Responsibilities

  • Load and make deliveries in accordance with company and legal guidelines, including proper use of safety equipment and following established procedures.
  • Perform required pre and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
  • Utilize onboard electronics, including ELDs.
  • Navigate Southern California geography and freeway systems.
  • Route around traffic and hazards utilizing maps and/or GPS.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and other related equipment as necessary.
  • Promote company Core Values and Integrity.
  • Work additional varying hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.


Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class A driver's license in the state of residence with Tanker and Hazardous Materials (X) endorsements.
  • Minimum of 36 months recent and verifiable commercial vehicle experience.
  • Experience driving trucks totaling gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol test.
  • Current medical certificate, with no restrictions or limitations.
  • Must be able to pass our road test with a vehicle chosen by the company.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain loading privileges at all Southern California terminals.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Adherence to California labor laws (meal and rest breaks).
  • TWIC (Transportation Worker's Identification Credential) preferred but not required.
  • Experience in petroleum transportation highly preferred.


Compensation

$29.00- $41.00 per hour (depending on years of service and additional premiums for weekend work.)
